Banana Lithium Project
67,245 hectares of 100%-owned, district-scale lithium ground in one of the world's premier hard-rock lithium jurisdictions.
A rare, district-scale land position
WhiteRock controls 67,245 hectares of prospective, 100%-owned LCT pegmatite terrain in the Eeyou Istchee James Bay and Nunavik regions of Québec, with the region also hosting some of the most significant hard-rock lithium discoveries of the past decade.
Two major prospects already confirmed, Spodumene Mountain and Isabella. Strike of over 1 km trending NNW is open both to the north and south as well as down dip. Large prospective areas of greenstone belt geology - some outcropping pegmatites have yet to be drill tested. True scale is yet to be revealed.
1 The Exploration Target is conceptual in nature (Cube Consulting / IGR, 2025, reported under JORC 2012). There has been insufficient exploration to estimate a Mineral Resource and it is uncertain whether further exploration will result in the estimation of a Mineral Resource.
Project strengths
The fundamentals of a lithium mine, in one place
Banana combines high grade spodumene, at surface with shallow mineralization and clean metallurgy results. Combined with the support offered by nearby regional infrastructure, these strengths set the project apart.
Spodumene, exposed at surface
Thick intercepts of high grade spodumene, from surface or shallow depth. Multiple, stacked pegmatites discovered, shallow dipping at 20 degrees to the east. Two main prospects, Spodumene Mountain and Isabella, both with exploration targets of > 90 million tonnes to be tested in the 2026 drill program.”
Successful 2024 drilling results
WhiteRock's maiden 2024 program was extremely successful, with 7,844 metres drilled across 29 drill holes. All the holes hit LCT mineralisation at / near surface with high grades of 2-3% encountered in many holes. The 2026 program will have a focus on in-fill drilling to prove up a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate, depending on results.
- 2024 program: 7,844 m across 29 diamond holes
- 2026 program: 18,000–24,000 m, up to 4 rigs, June to October
- Maiden Mineral Resource Estimate: targeted 1H 2027
Coarse grained, clean mineralogy
Test work showed that on average a coarse grain size, particularly at Spodumene Mountain. XRD showed >95% of lithium was present as spodumene with very low lepidolite observed. Also low iron levels, which is important for meeting battery specifications. High recoveries, up to 87% in HLS test-work suggests a DMS only flowsheet could be employed.
Infrastructure advantages
Significant infrastructure is already in place within the local region, including hydro power, airstrip capable of handling jet aircraft, all-weather road and an exploration camp. In addition, Le Grande Alliance, a C$4.7 billion agreement between the Quebec Government and The Cree Nation aims to bring development to the region.
- ~55 km to the all-season Trans-Taïga Road
- ~50 km to the Laforge-2 hydroelectric facility
- $4.7B La Grande Alliance regional development
Use of funds
Funded for the 2026 program
The IPO raise funds an expanded 2026 field campaign, stepping the Banana Lithium Project toward a maiden Mineral Resource. Indicative allocation of the net proceeds:
